About Horse Guard
Horse Guard is a second-generation, family-owned equine supplement company based in Oregon since 1978. We manufacture and ship premium horse supplements to customers and dealers across the United States.
We are looking for a dependable, hard-working individual to join our warehouse team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in organization and efficiency, and works well in a small team environment.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately
- Prepare pallets and dealer shipments
- Receive and organize incoming inventory
- Load and unload shipments using a forklift
- Safely operate warehouse equipment and forklifts
- Keep warehouse clean, organized, and efficient
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation
- Support manufacturing and packaging projects as needed
- Help maintain quality control standards
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working on your feet throughout the day
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Basic computer and organizational skills
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
- Horse or agricultural industry knowledge is a bonus, but not required
- No smoking on company premises
Schedule
Labor Day through Memorial Day:
- Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Summer hours, 1/2 day Fridays:
- Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
